This entry should be set to 1 (TRUE) if using a shank tip to take edge hits. With this option set to 1, PC-DMIS allows you to qualify the shank of the probe. You can also manipulate the other shank entries to determine how the shank is measured:
Be aware that if you are using a shank probe, you only need to do a shank calibration if you'll be taking edge hits.
