The value for this entry determines the most recently selected choice for the Tips to Use if NONE Explicitly Selected area inside the Measure dialog box. This is useful after you create a new probe and you need to calibrate the probe tips the first time. Once you calibrate the new probe, PC-DMIS saves the last-used selections for that probe, and the entry value no longer has any effect on that probe.
