When set to TRUE and you use Read Pos for Auto features, this entry defines whether or not a Find Hole's Read Position operation returns all three axes (X, Y, and Z), even if the Auto feature uses an RMEAS feature.
You generally won't use this option.
Suppose you have a contoured part which you only Rmeas to the X axis. Your Z may be out of tolerance by a large amount. Normally, you would Rmeas to Z as well, but since you don’t have a decent non-contoured feature to Rmeas to, in this case, you would need Read Pos to update X,Y, and Z.
When set to FALSE, PC-DMIS uses only the X and Y axes.
