This entry determines the first technique that will be used for your advanced scan. The options are Line, Body Axis, Variable, and Nullfilter.
0 (Line Technique) - The approach of the probe is perpendicular to the line between the previous two hits.
1 (Body Axis Technique) - The approach of the probe is perpendicular to the indicated axis (see "ScanDialogBodyAxis").
2 (Variable Technique) - The approach of the probe is perpendicular to the line between the previous two hits, but additional calculations are made using the min/max increments and angles to determine increments between hits.
3 (Nullfilter Technique) - Data is not filtered.
