Repositioning Commands

You can reposition many commands in PC-DMIS. If you're in Summary, Command, or DMIS mode, do the following to reposition a command:

  1. Select the entire command block.

  2. Select the Edit | Cut menu option to remove the command from its current location.

  3. Move the cursor in the Edit window to the new location and select the Edit | Paste menu option to place the command in its new location.

You can also use the Edit | Copy menu option to make a copy of a command and store it in the Clipboard until you decide to paste the copy into another location.

For information on these and other standard edit commands, see "Using Standard Edit Commands" in the "Editing a Measurement Routine" chapter.
