This section provides installation information for ENC7480/ENC7360 (GMServer.exe ver 31).
The interface is generally implemented for any manual CMM that communicates through TCP/IP (UDP or TCP), GPIB, SERIAL interface and with any protocol (communication strings).
For cases when the manufacturer supplies a dynamic linked library (DLL) with communication card, the Generic Machine Server (GMServer) was devised to mediate the communication between PC-DMIS when it runs ManualCMM.dll and the manufacturer’s DLL. The goal is to have one generic access to all kinds of hardware.
