Before you install PC-DMIS, configure your portlock or LMS license for the Mycrona interface. When you have the correct PC-DMIS license configured for the Mycrona interface, it ensures the correct files and entries are set up when you install PC-DMIS.
The Mycrona interface requires these license options:
Vision enabled
Mycrona DCC Vision type
Vision online interface
For PC-DMIS to run correctly, you must install the Mycrona libraries. For information on the Mycrona libraries or the Mycrona firmware, please send an email to "customercare.hmv@hexagon.com".
The PC-DMIS installation assumes that the Frame Grabber has already been successfully installed. For details on Frame Grabber installation and setup, see "PC-DMIS Vision Frame Grabber and Camera Setup".
Setting up PC-DMIS to run offline and on a machine running an embedded or MCU controller
If you need to setup PC-DMIS on an offline computer in addition to a machine running an embedded or MCU controller (Mycrona interface), do the following:
Install PC-DMIS according to the instructions described in the "Readme.pdf". You can find this document in the "en" folder where you installed the English version of the PC-DMIS help.
Perform a Mycrona to PC-DMIS interface setup according to the "Update_Mycrona_Interface_en.pdf" documentation, except in step 15, DO NOT select the Launch OPTIV Machine Configurator check box.
Copy the folder C:\ProgramData\HMV\PCDMIS-Adapter\V_6.2\Offline from the machine's computer, and paste it into the same location on the offline computer.
The next time you start PC-DMIS on the offline computer, you will see the same lamp and CWS configuration that's on the machine's computer.
