The LED on the servo amplifier PC board on the Servo Control Unit (SCU) chassis indicates one of the following faults:
Excess current
Servo amp overheated
Equipment improperly grounded
Sudden surge in current
The voltage is too high or too low
What you should do:
To clear the error, click Clear error in the XYZ Display window.
To clear it using an RCU-II, press and hold down the Servo Power Off button and then press the Joy button twice.
Allow the servos to cool before you proceed.
If the error reoccurs, contact your Giddings & Lewis service representative.
