Allows you to define the default value for the Depth option that is used when an Auto feature is created.
A depth value is used for measuring sample hits. The sample hit is taken at a distance from the feature you are measuring. The behavior of this function differs depending on the Auto feature type. For more information, see the section on "Working with Contact Path Properties" topic in the PC-DMIS CMM documentation.
This value is used for Contact probes while the Depth entry value is used for laser probes.
Entry Name: DccDepth
Entry Type: Real Number to specify distance. The default value is 0.
