The following table lists some basic PC-DMIS functions that you can control with the Zeiss jog box.
PC-DMIS Function |
Zeiss Jog Box |
End |
F1 |
Execute or Continue |
F2 |
Erase Hit |
F2 or the Space key |
Save Mast Auto Dim |
F4 |
Store Move |
F5 or the button on the XY joystick |
If MappedJogKeys = True, then the default settings are:
END - Done button. (Also, this is the Yes or OK button if the top-most dialog box has those buttons.)
ERASE - Erases the last hit.
DCC_INSERT_MOVE - Inserts a clearance move.
EXECUTE_STOP - Stops the execution. (The Done button toggles between Stop and Continue, so this is not needed.)
EXECUTE_CONTINUE - Continues execution. (The Done button toggles between Stop and Continue, so this is not needed.)
ID_UTIL_KEEP_DIM - This option is rarely used. It was used when you had auto dimension turned on but not auto-save dimensions. In this mode, the auto dimension generates each time you measure a feature. Then, this dimension deletes when you create the next feature unless you specifically keep the last dimension. The main reason is to see the dimension in the Edit window without automatically inserting it into the measurement routine as a command.
ID_CANCEL - Maps to the Cancel button.
DCC_MEASURE - Is the same as Ctrl + E (measure the last feature).
UTIL_DELETE - Deletes the last feature.
This can be dangerous on a jog box button.
MAN/DCC - Toggles between the Manual and DCC mode commands in the Edit window.
Release Probe with Trigger - Prompts the user first.
WARNING: This should not be used with an analog probe! If this is used with an analog probe, the probe will drop before the dialog box appears. For analog probes, you should only use #13!
Attach Probe - Prompts the user first.
Release Probe with OK - Prompts the user first.
Soft Reset of Controller
FOR MC-850: Release Probe with Trigger - Prompts the user first.
FOR MC-850: Attach Probe - Prompts the user first.

The button on the top of the XY jog is 21.
