PC-DMIS generates an environment file automatically based on your current license configuration. The file contains this information:
Interface type
Non-Contact Sensor type
When you launch PC-DMIS, PC-DMIS uses this information to connect to the online device.
Hexagon now ships with offline license to support these interfaces:

The environment file allows you to configure offline PC-DMIS with a UI that closely matches your online environment.
