PC-DMIS allows you to translate an NX (previously Unigraphics) file and import it into a PC-DMIS measurement routine. This type of import differs from interfacing directly with the NX CAD file described in the "Direct CAD Interfaces" documentation.
You can choose to import a .prt file.
If you have an NX model with global tolerances, PC-DMIS applies those tolerances to non-basic dimensions without tolerances during the model import.
