Do Not Display Plane

(This item pertains to the check boxes on the General tab of the Setup Options dialog box. You can open it through the F5 key or through the Edit | Preferences | Setup menu option.)

When you add measured or constructed plane features, PC-DMIS has the option of displaying a shaded plane as either an outline of the hits comprising the plane or as a triangle. You can mark this check box to hide the drawn shaded plane at creation so that it doesn't clutter up the Graphic Display window. This only hides the drawn plane; PC-DMIS still creates the actual plane feature. This setting corresponds with the DoNotDisplayPlane entry in the Option section of the PC-DMIS Settings Editor.
