Mini routines facilitate the execution of a measurement routine with Feature Based Measurement (FBM). For complete information about mini routines, see "Mini Routines".
To execute a mini routine with ClearanceCube, follow these steps:
Create the mini routine with the required dimensions. For help, see "Mini Routines".
From the Mode list in the Mini Routines dialog box, select ClearanceCube.
To mark the features and dimensions that you want to measure, click the Show Marked button. PC-DMIS marks those features and dimensions in the Edit window.
To start the measurement, click the Execute button.
PC-DMIS executes a measurement routine with FBM as follows:
PC-DMIS marks the complete measurement routine.
PC-DMIS unmarks all groups or all commands in each group.
PC-DMIS marks all of the selected dimensions with the Parent mode dependency. It marks all features on which they are dependent.
PC-DMIS identifies each group where one or more features are marked. It marks all commands in that group that are not features or dimensions. For example, Loadprobe, Tip, Recall of alignment, Prehit, Retract, Comments, Move, Moveset, Movespeed, Display precision, Format, Mode, Workplane, Datdef, and so forth.
PC-DMIS executes the marked commands in the measurement routine. PC-DMIS only measures the selected dimensions and any feature required to measure the selected dimensions.
