In the Summary mode, you can show and hide features in the Graphic Display window. The Show / Hide button shows the current visibility state of the feature.

This option toggles the display of selected feature commands and their IDs in the Graphic Display window. You can also use this on a GROUP command to toggle the display of features within the group.
From the Feature Shortcut menu in the Graphic Display window:
If you select Hide Feature for a feature, PC-DMIS hides the feature and its ID in the Graphic Display window and Summary mode turns off the Show / Hide button.
If you select Hide ID for a feature, PC-DMIS hides the ID of a feature in the Graphic Display window but Summary mode does not turn off the Show / Hide button.
