This box contains the thickness of the tip. It defines the usable and graphical height/thickness of the ruby tip. PC-DMIS applies this value during the disk probe calibration procedure to move the probe north or south of the equator. In the case of a disk probe, for example, you might need to adjust this value down to make the probe qualify better.
