The Polar option in the Construct Filter Feature dialog box (Insert | Feature | Constructed | Filter) enables you to apply a filter to data in a circular scan. PC-DMIS assumes that the data is periodic (meaning it forms one complete, closed circle). The deviations affected in this case are radial deviations.
