To Construct a Feature from the Edit Window

1. Access the Edit window (View | Edit Window).

2. Place the cursor where you want to construct the feature in the Edit window.

3. Type the command CONST, and press the Tab key.

4. In the Edit window, locate the CONSTR/ line.

5. Click on that line, and press the Tab key until you highlight the feature type on the right side of the slash.

6. Press F7 and F8, and choose the type of feature to construct. (For an example of the command line for a constructed point, see "Constructing New Features from Existing Features: Introduction" above).
