The Level - 3 option in the Iterative Alignment dialog box (Insert | Alignment | New | Iterative button) is used in conjunction with at least three features selected from the Feature List box. This set of features establishes the orientation of the normal axis of the current workplane by fitting a plane through the feature centroids.
