The <<Basic and Advanced>> buttons in the scan dialog box (Insert | Scan) switch between displaying basic scanning options on the scan dialog box and more in-depth, advanced options.
Click Advanced>> to expand the dialog box to include the Execution, Graphics, and Path Definition tabs in the lower section. Each tab contains additional options that you can use to define your scan.
Click <<Basic to hide the more advanced items and display the basic information you need to create the scan.
