Choosing the Select Center check box in the scan dialog box (Insert | Scan) enables you to click on the CAD to indicate the center point. You can select a surface point or wireframe point. PC-DMIS fills in the Center Point boxes with the XYZ information for the selected point.
When you select this check box, be aware that the boundary points of the scan will not be updated. PC-DMIS will only update the boundary points when you clear this check box.
