The File | Open menu option allows you to switch between measurement routines anytime by invoking the Open dialog box and allowing you to select a different measurement routine. If the measurement routine you select is different from the currently executing part, PC-DMIS automatically saves and closes the active measurement routine before loading the newly selected measurement routine. If however, you try to select and initiate the active measurement routine a second time from the Open dialog box, PC-DMIS offers two choices:
Discard all changes made to the active measurement routine since the last Save operation and reload the selected measurement routine without the changes.
Cancel the entire operation and return to the Open dialog box.
You can only have one measurement routine open at a given time in Operator Mode.
