Select the Insert | Hardware Definition | Fixture menu option to open the Create/Modify Fixture dialog box.
Select the Fixture Points tab.
Select a fixture definition from the Available list. This list contains all existing fixture definitions on the fixture server. Information for the selected fixture definition appears in the Fixture Points tab. PC-DMIS inserts the current date into the Modification Date box.
Make modifications to the dialog box as needed. If you need to modify a point, edit the corresponding cell in the table. To delete a selected point, click the Delete Point button.
In addition to the buttons and controls provided in the dialog box, if you right-click on the grid of point data, a shortcut menu opens and provides the following functions:
Flip vectors - Flips the your IJK vectors so that they point in the opposite direction.
Show column - Highlights the column in red so that you can see where it is placed with respect to the CAD.
Select/Remove for reposition - Selects the column that is associated with the point for repositioning. The Reposition button is enabled.
Delete Point - Behaves the same as the Delete button. It deletes the selected point from the list of points.
Module Properties - Displays a dialog box that shows the properties for the selected module.
Click the Apply button to update the fixture definition on the server.
If you have a LOADFIXTURE command in your measurement routine, and you want to edit its properties, follow these steps:
Place your cursor on the LOADFIXTURE command.
Press F9 on your keyboard to open the Create/Modify Fixture dialog box.
Update the properties for your fixture definition.
