Installation Information

The DLL for the Brown & Sharpe Excel (Sharpe) interface is named sharpe.dll.

The PC-DMIS Settings Editor section for this interface is named "SHARPE32".

To run, PC-DMIS must have the DOWNL.OAD file from the original software package. If you are using software compensation, then you also need the COMP.DAT file.

For systems with dual rotary tables, a second controller controls only the second table. In that situation, PC-DMIS must have a DOWNL2.OAD file that is configured for use on a controller with only the W axis in use. Currently, because there is no compensation for the table only, you do not need a COMP2.DAT file.
