PC-DMIS starts the Proto software. If you defined the correct COM port in the Proto configuration file, Proto starts communication with the controller.
With the current version of the Proto software, Proto terminates as soon as PC-DMIS shuts down. If PC-DMIS doesn't shut down then Proto remains running. In that case, PC-DMIS adapts itself to the Proto software.
