Note on Infinite Wrist (CW43, CW43L, Renishaw)

CW43 and CW43L Wrists

If you are using a machine with a DEA-type infinite wrist that you want to use in infinite wrist mode (for example, CW43 or CW43L), you must set the DEAWrist entry to 1 in the Option section in PC-DMIS Settings Editor.

Renishaw PHS Wrist

If you are using a machine that has a Renishaw PHS wrist, you must set the RenishawWrist entry to 1 in the Option section. Also, if this wrist uses the Renishaw Kinematic Mount, set RenishawKinematicMount to 1.

DEA and Renishaw Wrists

For DEA and Renishaw infinite wrists, you should also set the RotateWristFromController entry to True. You can mark each probe file as to whether it should be used in infinite or indexing mode. If the value is not set to True, attempts to use a physically infinite wrist in an indexing mode may cause an error when it tries to rotate the wrist.
