Live Updates

Requirements:

• Firmware version 12 or higher

• Motorized Renishaw head

Live Update Setup

1. Verify the firmware version – should be 12 or higher.

2. Change these variables in either the pcdlrn.ini file (version 3.25) or the PC-DMIS Settings Editor (version 3.5 and higher):

• LiveUpdateMethod = 1

• NeedsHomePosition = 1

3. Shut down the computer and controller.

4. Re-start the computer and controller.

5. Turn the servos on.

6. Start PC-DMIS, and click OK when the software prompts you to home the machine.
