Procedure to Copy Mechanical Offset Values from Sheffield Key to USER_Sheffield Key

To copy the mechanical offset values from the Sheffield key to the USER_Sheffield key:

  1. Open the PC-DMIS Settings Editor application and click the Connect button.

  2. Navigate to the Sheffield section and click the + button to expand the section.

  3. Scroll down the list of entries and click the MechanicalOffsetX entry to view its details on the right.

  4. Select the contents of the Current value box, right-click it and select Copy from the menu.

  5. Navigate to the USER_Sheffield section and click the + button to expand the section.

  6. Scroll down the list of setting entries and click the MechanicalOffsetX entry to view its details on the right.

  7. In the Current value box, select its contents, right-click it and select Paste from the menu.

  8. Repeat steps 2 through 7 for the MechanicalOffsetY and MechanicalOffsetZ entries.

  9. Close the PC-DMIS Settings Editor.
