"Weight compensation" is a compensation feature that accounts for the effect of a workpiece's weight on the granite table of bridge CMMs. Weight compensation is enabled and disabled through the WeightComp command. You can also use this command to the workpiece's weight, placement, and support layout.
The WeightComp command is supported only by the Distributed Controller.
