(This item pertains to the Add Angles dialog box. You can open this dialog box with the Add Angles button on the Probe Utilities dialog box, accessible through Insert | Hardware Definition | Probe.)
The From Grid option lets you view and add angles from the angle grid. The angle grid displays all of the available A-angle positions down the side of the dialog box. It displays the B-angle positions along the top of the dialog box.
Add Angles dialog box - From Grid
To add a new angle from the grid, perform the following steps:
Position your mouse pointer over the grid. The A Angle and B Angle boxes display the angle dynamically as you move your mouse pointer on the grid to determine the angle.
Find the row of the A angle you want to add. Then find the column with the appropriate B angle.
Click the box in the grid where the desired A and B angles intersect. The selected box turns red, and PC-DMIS inserts the selected AB angle positions into the New Angles List box.
To clear a selected AB angle position, click one of the red boxes again. PC-DMIS then removes the AB angle positions associated with that box from the New Angles List box.
