Some items cannot migrate or do not make sense to migrate to geometric tolerance commands:
An XactMeasure profile tolerance with no datums and the NO FIT math option implies that the deviations should be calculated with respect to the active alignment, rather than with respect to a datum reference frame. The geometric tolerance command cannot calculate such profile tolerances. PC-DMIS migrates them as legacy profile dimension commands with the NO FIT math option.
COPSECTION and MESHSECTION commands calculate their own nominals that are different than the CAD model. Therefore, it does not make sense to use them with the geometric tolerance command. If these commands are in an XactMeasure profile tolerance, the migration coverts those tolerances to the legacy profile command, with no best fit (no datums referenced).
The five colormap commands (surface colormap, point colormap, thickness colormap, mesh colormap, and mesh thickness colormap) calculate their own deviations using an active alignment, rather than with a datum reference frame. So, it doesn't make sense to use them with a geometric tolerance command. If these commands are in an XactMeasure profile tolerance, the migration coverts those tolerances to the legacy profile command, with no best fit (no datums referenced). Also, the five colormap commands migrate to "Form and Location" no matter what the XactMeasure tolerance had, so that the legacy dimension's deviations match the colormap deviations.
