This setting determines whether PC-DMIS prompts the operator if PC-DMIS cannot determine the optimal tip for a given feature.
When the value is 1 (TRUE), PC-DMIS prompts the operator to manually specify the most appropriate tip. This also turns on the Ask if tip not found switch in the Advanced section of the Optimize Path dialog box.
When the value is the default of 0 (FALSE), PC-DMIS does not show the dialog box. Instead, PC-DMIS selects an appropriate tip from the defined set of tips. This also turns off the Ask if tip not found switch in the Advanced section of the Optimize Path dialog box.
