If this entry is set to 1, the software enables the Quality Filter in the sensor's controller. The Quality Filter performs an optimal edge detection during the scan.
The option to enable or disable this filter is only possible when the Gain is active (CMS Sensitivity = 1 ).
Consider this example:
Here the Quality Filter is always active and is independent of the CMS QualityFilter value:
The Quality Filter button is hidden when the Gain is set to Normal
In this example:
With the Quality Filter button pressed, the CMS QualityFilter entry is set to 1.
With the Quality Filter button is not pressed, the CMS QualityFilter entry is set to 0.
The Quality Filter button is visible when the Gain is set to High
