The value for this entry specifies which simplified Temperature Compensation Setup dialog box opens in PC-DMIS when you select Edit | Preferences | Temperature Compensation.

Entry Type: Whole number that specifies TRUE or FALSE. The default value is FALSE.
TRUE - The simplified Temperature Compensation Setup dialog box opens. The type of dialog box that appears depends on whether you connect your machine to a Hexagon controller or a non-Hexagon controller.
When this entry is set to 1 (TRUE), you can change the temperature sensors from the I++ entry settings when running from an I++ DMS Client interface.

If you use a controller with the Sheffield interface, you must set the UseTemperatureCompensationV2 entry in the Option section of the PC-DMIS Settings Editor application to FALSE. If you set it to TRUE, that entry may affect your measurement routine's move points in unexpected ways.
