The Playlist Dialog Box

Similar to a playlist for music files, a playlist in Inspect is a collection of measurement routines that "play" (or execute) one after another.

You can use the playlist dialog box to manage your playlists.

You can access the playlist dialog box to manage or create a playlist in these ways:

The playlist dialog box contains these items:

Playlist Type - This lets you choose the type of playlist. This can be Routine or Pallet. If you choose Pallet, the Pallet Layout tab appears so that you can configure the pallet.

New Playlist - This option appears when you select products to add to a playlist. It defines that the playlist is a new playlist, and it enables the box beneath it. You can type the playlist name in that box. You can then choose the routines you want from the Routines tab.

Existing Playlist - This option appears when you select products to add to a playlist. It defines that the playlist is an existing one. The option contains a drop-down list with all the existing playlists. You can select a playlist from this list, and then add or delete routines from the Routines tab.

Routines - See "Routines Tab".

Pallet Layout - See "Pallet Layout Tab".

Execution Order - See "Execution Order Tab".

Trace Fields - See "Trace Fields Tab".

Settings - See "Settings Tab".

Save - This button appears when you create or modify a playlist. It accepts your changes and closes the playlist dialog box. If you want to cancel your changes, click the X in the top right of the dialog box, or click Cancel.
