Simplified temperature compensation is available for machines that are connected to Hexagon controllers. Currently, only stationary products, Leica Trackers and Romer Portable Arms are supported.
You can access Simplified Temperature Compensation through the menu (Edit | Preferences | Temperature Compensation Setup).
The following product lines and machine types are not supported. They must use the original temperature compensation command.
PC-DMIS NC
Non-Hexagon controllers and equipment
Controllers that do not support temperature sensors
Controllers with the Sheffield interface
If you use a controller with the Sheffield interface, the UseTemperatureCompensationV2 registry entry in the Option section must be False. If it is set to True, that registry entry may affect your measurement routine's move points in unexpected ways.
