Outputs Migration

Statistics

If an XactMeasure command outputs to statistics, the migrated geometric tolerance command also does the same. However, the statistics output has more detail in the aspects that matter and less detail in the aspects that don't matter. Therefore, you may see some changes in the statistics behavior before and after migration.

Expressions

If your measurement routine had an expression that referenced an XactMeasure command, the expression continues to work after migration. The XactMeasure expression syntax was always extremely limited, but it continues to work with the geometric tolerance command. For new expressions, we recommend that you use the new geometric tolerance expression syntax documented in "Expressions" in "Outputting Results from Geometric Tolerances".

Basic Scripts

If your measurement routine had a Basic script in it that controlled an XactMeasure command, you may need to edit your script after migration. Several of the simplest attributes you can control via a Basic script continue to work, but many of the attributes are different after migration. If you have questions, please contact Hexagon Technical Support.

Automation

If you control your measurement routine via automation, you may need to edit your automation script after migration. Several of the simplest attributes you can control via automation continue to work, but many of the attributes are different after migration. Please contact Hexagon Technical Support if you have questions.

Report Modifications

The most common types of report modifications continue to work after migration. These include:

Other report modifications will not work after migration. If you depended on a particular report modification, you will need to re-modify the report after migration to the geometric tolerance command.
