This registry entry controls the maximum radius for an arc segment that is created from the segmentation process of a continuous scan. PC-DMIS uses internal functions to create line and arc segments that make up a continuous scan. Arc segments that have a larger radius than this value will be eliminated from the scan data.
This registry entry, as well as the MinimumArcSegmentRadiusInMM and MinimumLineSegmentLengthInMM registry entries, help deal with noise in the scan line and provide more consistent segmentation.
