This registry entry controls the minimum radius for an arc segment that is created from the segmentation process of a continuous scan. PC-DMIS uses internal functions to create line and arc segments that make up a continuous scan. The software eliminates arc segments that have a smaller radius than this value from the scan data.
This registry entry as well as the MaximumArcSegmentRadiusInMM and MinimumLineSegmentLengthInMM registry entries help deal with noise in the scan line and provide more consistent segmentation.
