Similar to a Projected Circle, PC-DMIS can create a slot feature projected onto a specified plane.
To construct a projected slot:
Open the Construct Round Slot dialog box (Insert | Feature | Constructed | Round Slot).
From the Method list, select the Projection option.
From the Feature list, select two features. The first feature should be a slot. The second feature should be a plane.
Select the In or Out option. For details, see the "In / Out Slot" topic in this documentation.
If you want to change the feature theoretical values, select the Feature theoreticals check box and type in the values. For details, see the "Specifying Feature Theoreticals" topic in the PC-DMIS Core documentation.
Click the Create button. The slot is constructed projected onto the specified plane.
