The required software for this interface is Proto.exe, version 2.5.0 or higher. You can find it on the installation disk. You cannot rename the Proto executable due to DDE requirements. If you rename the software, it will not communicate with PC-DMIS.
If you have JoWin installed, the Proto software is already installed since it is part of the JoWin installation. Also, you can run different versions of Proto from different directories, but you can only run one instance at a time.
