On an MP-30 system, the checksum generated from the EPROM contents did not match stored checksum. Possible causes are:
EPROM chip failure
CPU board failure (data lines, address, decoding, etc.)

What you should do:
Note the address and location display on the MP.
If the error reoccurs, contact your Giddings & Lewis service representative.
