The Math file (.mth) is a binary spline representation of the Nominal file. PC-DMIS Blade need this file for analysis of airfoil sections.
Math file can be created from Nominal files.
A Math file is needed to create a Tolerance file.
You cannot directly edit Math files.
Be careful when you update the Nominal file that is used to create the specified Math file, since the Math file is NOT automatically updated when its corresponding Nominal file is updated. Re-create Math file when Nominal file is modified.
To create a Math file from a Nominal file, follow these steps:
Select Create | Math, or click the Create Math File button on the toolbar. This opens the Convert NOM to MTH dialog box.

Click Browse and select the needed Nominal file, or type the full path and name of the file in the NOM File box. The MTH File box is automatically filled in with the same path and name with an .mth extension.
Click Convert to create the Math file.
