Resetting Inspect to Factory Defaults

If you encounter a problem where you can't use Inspect at all, you may need to reset Inspect to its factory defaults.

You can use the Command Prompt window's command line to remove all add-ons and settings:

  1. From the Windows Start menu, type Command Prompt, and press Enter to open a Command Prompt window.

  2. From the Command Prompt window, navigate to the Inspect installation folder location.

  3. At the prompt, type one of the following:

Inspect.exe -resetaddons

Inspect.exe /resetaddons

  1. Press Enter to perform the removal.
