The Left Sidebar (Backstage)

The main left sidebar appears when you enter the backstage view. This sidebar contains these items:

Help About - This button shows the About screen.

Leave Backstage - This button leaves the backstage and switches the interface to one of the non-backstage screens. This is usually the Measure screen, but it might be another screen if you don't use the Measure add-on.

To leave the backstage, you must install one or more tab add-ons. If you don't install a tab add-on, the tooltip for this icon shows "No tab add-ons installed". Tab add-ons are add-ons that Inspect displays in a tabbed view, such as Measure or Slideshow. For more information on the tab add-ons, see the "The Add-ons Screen" topic.

To return to the backstage, or the main Inspect view, click Go to backstage ().

Home - This button shows the Home screen.

Recent - This button shows all the routines and playlists that you have most recently accessed or used. It shows them on the Recent screen.

Favorites - This button shows all the routines and playlists you marked as favorites. It shows them on the Favorites screen.

Playlists - This button shows all your playlists on the Playlists screen.

Parts - This button shows the Parts screen.

Reports - This button shows the Reports screen.

Swift-Check - This button shows the Swift-Check screen. You need to install the Swift-check add-on to see this button.

Discover - This button shows the Discover screen.

Settings - This button shows the Settings screen.

Add-ons - This button shows the Add-ons screen. You need to run Inspect as an administrator to see this button.

About - This button shows the About screen.

Exit - This button closes Inspect.
