2023.1 HxGN NC Server with NC Gage

NC Gage is a gaging software that can be operated using simple teach-in to perform various measurement and setup tasks, to a high level of accuracy.

This document serves as both a guide to using NC Gage, and a reference for the various functions.

The NC Gage documentation has three parts:

Part 1: How to use NC Gage for typical tasks - This part of the NC Gage documentation is a quick start on how to use the software. You can also use it as a tutorial to learn how to operate the software.

Part 2: Reference material - This part of the NC Gage documentation contains details on the advanced options of the various functions in the software

Part 3: Appendices - This part of the NC Gage documentation provides additional useful information for working with NC Gage.

Part 1 of this manual assumes that NC Gage has been installed and configured correctly on the machine. If the software has not been installed or configured, please refer to the appendices on how to install the software, and how to configure the software.

The first part of this manual describes how to operate the functions in NC Gage. The topics are organized with standard functions listed first, followed by the optional functions.

To effectively use this manual, follow the instructions found in the how-to section (Part 1) for the task you want to perform. Once you are familiar with performing the basic task, review the reference section for any additional options available for the functions you require.
