How To Measure a Point
Note
Note that the Learn then Measure box is active.

1 | Press the Select Measurement Face button to select the axis of the point you want to measure. This determines the direction that the probe moves to contact the part. |

| Move the probe away from the point that you want to contact. This should be in the same direction as the axis you selected in the above step. Press Read Position button. |

| If you need to correct the position, press the Remove Last Position button to cancel the previously read location, then repeat the previous step. | |||

| Press the Execute button. Start the monitor macro on the machine NC Gage measures the point along the selected machine axis and displays the result. | |||
5 | Review the measured values on screen and if necessary, adjust the nominal values.

| Press OK to add the command to the measurement program. | |||
How To Measure a Slanted Point

| Move the probe away from the point that should be touched, in the direction face normal. Press <Read Position> |

| If you need to correct the position, press the <Remove Last Position> to cancel the previously read location, then repeat the previous step. | |||

| Click the Execute button, then start the monitor macro on the machine | |||
