Setting Up a Machine
Before using NC Gage, you must use the Config Tool to configure various machine-related settings for proper operation. This includes connection parameters, kinematic parameters, motion parameters, various macros and M-code settings etc. After you complete these configuration settings, you need to use the Config Tool to generate the machine's macros.

1 | Open the Config Tool dialog box. For details, see "Starting the Config Tool". |
2 | To configure the controller, select the General tab. For details, see "Configuring Items on the General Tab". |
3 | Press the Read Machine button to read out the machine parameters. |

5 | Select the [Axis Setup] tab to configure the kinematics and axis info |
6 | |
7 | Press <Save Configuration> to save the data |
8 | Press <Generate Macro Program> to create the necessary macros |
9 | Press <Exit> to exit the Config Tool |
