Workpiece Setup Screen Settings
Many Set Work Offset functions have advanced settings associated with them. These settings are shown on the right side of the screen with the various parameters
Setting | Description |

Prehit Distance | This setting is the distance before reaching a touch point, that NC Gage slows the approach speed of the probe until it reaches the touch speed. This is also the distance that the probe searches for the point to measure. |
Search Distance | This setting is the maximum distance that the probe moves to search for a point during the teach-in process. |
Clearance Plane | This setting is the safe position location that the probe moves to after each point measurement. |
Number of Points/ per Level/ per Row | This setting defines how many points NC Gage takes or has taken at each level and on each row. |
Upper Level Angle | This setting defines the upper level angle of measurement for a sphere. |
Lower Level Angle | This setting defines the lower level angle of measurement for a sphere. |
