Application Menu

This area provides functions that work with the data in NC Server Offline Manager. These functions include:

  • Importing NC server data

  • Opening PC-DMIS

  • Exporting programs

Server View

This area provides you with information on the machines that are defined in an NC server. If you imported machines from multiple NC servers, the software lists the servers in a drop-down at the top of this area. When you select a server from the list, the software shows this information:

  • All machines defined on the selected server

  • Machine configuration information

  • Last calibration date of the probe

Machine Details and Data

When you select a machine card from the Server View area, the application shows this information for the selected machine:

  • A summary of the machine data for the selected machine card

  • The start macro associated with the selected machine found when you select the Start Macro tab

  • The end macro associated with the selected machine found when you select the End Macro tab

  • The probe files associated with the selected machine found on the Probe Files tab

  • The CNC files associated with the selected machine found on the CNC Files tab

    If PC-DMIS has started, you can click the Repost button (btn_repost.jpg) to rebuild the CNC program.

    If the source type of the selected machine is an MTM Net server, you can use the CNC Upload button (btn_cnc_upload.jpg) to upload the CNC measurement routine to the CNC machine:

Note

If there is an MTM Net connection but the machine at the server is offline, NC Server Offline Manager shows an Upload Failure dialog box.
